Baquitania
 is one of the big names in the City of Heroes art community, and also a nice guy. When he recently began a commission sale, I realized I'd never commissioned him, so I had to rectify that ASAP.Cavalry McClellan is an old RPG character or mine, whom I translated over into CoH as an Assault Rifle/Devices blaster. Cav's concept is roughly 'the love child of Annie Oakley and Indiana Jones' and Baquitania did a great job getting a very Western look here. I love the stylized, spaghetti Western feel of this--it makes me think of Clint Eastwood. The flying coat, the bright, dusty background, the long shadow, it's all perfect. I think she's saying 'I'm your huckleberry' right before she shoots the bad guy. Thank you, Baquitania, for providing such a cool take on an old character! Art by Character by me |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
