A little over a year ago, PinUp Girl met Proud Citizen in the MMORPG City of Heroes, and I had the great good fortune of getting to know PC's player, WemblyFraggle

. The two heroes hit it off, and so we became gaming buddies, and then friends. And then more than friends.
He asked me to come and visit him in Australia, and I said I would. We are both very fond of the movie
Australia, and he promised he would sing me to him. We talked every day, and every day he sang to me, as he promised. Days passed, months passed, and then suddenly we were holding each other in a busy airport, trembling and barely able to speak from excitement and nerves.
For three weeks, he showed me some of his beautiful country, and I fell in love with it just as I had fallen in love with him. Yes, winter came early; it was chilly and wet and windy, and I contracted a nasty cold. But he took care of me, and looked after me, and together we had many fun adventures--cruising Sydney harbor in a tall ship, feeding kangaroos, eating crocodile, cheering at the Outback Spectacular. It was the most wonderful and romantic three weeks of my life, and it ended all too quickly.
So now I'm home, and missing him awfully, and counting the days until he's here in July. I have lots planned for him, including introducing him to real Tex-Mex. The man has never had the
real thing. We tried 'fajitas' Down Under and, well, they weren't quite right (but a good try).
It is a truth universally acknowledged that if two people can cheerfully share a bathroom for three weeks, it bodes well for their future relationship.
Who'd have thought that over so many years and so many miles, we could find each other? I guess sometimes miracles do happen.

Joel: I know.
Clementine: What do we do?
Joel: Enjoy it.
